These terms are the agreement between you and goodiesSnap ("we", "us") for use of the goodiesSnap app. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. The app is not directed at children under 13.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password private. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete my account. Deletion is permanent: it removes your account, posts, comments, likes, group memberships and uploaded photos. Recipes saved on your device stay on your device.
goodiesSnap has a community feed. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You may not post content that:
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give us permission to store and display it inside goodiesSnap so the feature works.
Any post or comment can be reported from its ··· menu, and any user can be blocked from the same place. Blocking is mutual: you and the blocked person stop seeing each other's posts and comments.
We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. Content that attracts multiple independent reports is hidden from the feed automatically while it is reviewed. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without notice where the harm is serious.
goodiesSnap is free to use with a monthly allowance of AI actions. Plus and Pro are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the App Store.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's terms, not by us.
Read this before you cook. goodiesSnap uses AI to read recipes and to estimate nutrition. AI makes mistakes. Ingredients can be missed, quantities can be wrong, and calorie and macro figures are estimates, not measurements.
You are responsible for checking that a recipe is safe for you and anyone you cook for — particularly for allergens, and for safe cooking temperatures and food handling. Do not rely on goodiesSnap if you have a food allergy or intolerance: always check the original source and the ingredient packaging.
Nothing in the app is medical, dietary or nutritional advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your diet or health.
When you import from a link or a video, goodiesSnap reads that page to produce a recipe card for your own personal use. Recipes and imagery may be protected by copyright. Import content you have the right to use, and do not republish other people's material to the community feed as your own.
Do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent the app or its limits, including the AI usage allowance; do not reverse engineer it; and do not use it to build a competing dataset or service.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what a paid plan provides.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You may stop using goodiesSnap at any time by deleting your account. We may end your access if you break these terms.
If you believe something posted on goodiesSnap infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated copyright agent at contact@goodiessnap.com with the subject "DMCA notice". Include: your contact details; the work you say is infringed; where the material is in the app (the post or a screenshot of it); a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner, with your physical or electronic signature.
We remove or disable material that is the subject of a valid notice and tell the person who posted it, who may send a counter-notice. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
